Triest and Postojna caves
In the morning we shall depart on our luxury private coach and head towards the motorway through the Italian- Slovenian border to reach our first destination in Postojna (Slovenia). The tour begins with the guided visit of the famous Caves (entrance ticket included in the price). The length of the entire section that has been set up as a show cave is 5 km, whereof 3.2 km are seen during a ride with an electric cave train and 1.8 km on foot. At the end of the tour you can enjoy some free time for lunch or purchase various crafts from the many gift shops outside the caves. In the the afternoon we shall head towards Triest. On arrival, you will enjoy a short panoramic tour by bus of this very charming city. Amongst its many beautiful attractions, you will admire the Borgo Teresiano, The Rive, and The Canal Grande. This will be followed by a stroll through the town to see its ancient architecture, the Jewish quarters, la Piazza della Borsa, il Teatro dell' Opera and the majestic Piazza Unità (Unity Square), which is Europe's largest sea-front square. At the end departure by coach for the way back with arrival at approximately 19.00/19.30 .
